Bio:
Marty is a lifetime photographer from Terre Haute,
Indiana. Bird photography is one of the most
challenging types of photography with its often
extreme variations in light and action. To date,
Marty has photographed nearly 300 different species
of birds - each and every one of them right here
within the state of Indiana. Many of these
photographed birds are extremely rare or endangered.
The goal of Marty's photography is to raise
awareness of Indiana's majestic birds and to
encourage the continued protection and the creation
of new bird and wildlife habitats. A member of RCAA,
Marty is also an avid member of local, state and
national Audubon, Nature Conservancy, Cornell Lab of
Ornithology and the American Birding Association. |
